And, while it’s completely fine (and refreshing) for more women to take control of styling their own hair, I still miss the luxury of having someone else take care of my natural curls. This is especially true when you don’t want to spend an arm and a couple of legs or sacrifice good quality hair styling in the process.

I want to know why we (readers, consumers, whoever) are so willing to pay for the cheap? Cheap has nothing to do with actual monetary cost, but has everything to do with the intangibles spent and the value gained. There are lots of ways to spend cheap. You are paying with attention spans from your brain, minutes lost in conversation (or translation), bits of disappointment or sadness.
