I’m the last person in the world to talk about wearing bright clothes. But my mind is backward. I’m more likely to don a cheery, yellow wool trench or blazing orange laptop case…in the winter. The drabber the weather, the brighter my clothes become.

When spring and summer arrive, my bright clothes disappear…usually.

I pair them with muted tones and lots of dark accessories. I hate the idea of wearing the backdrop of bright grass and blooming flowers during the spring and summer.

It seems redundant.

Q. When the warmer weather comes, do you immediately go for bright clothes or stick close to the colors you love, even if they are dark and muted?
