As someone who likes to think of herself as well versed in the various modes of communication – I must admit I have been living in an absolute state of delusion.

I thought blogging was unnecessary.

I created this space at the suggestion of a friend. I research what seems to be an endless maze of blogging tutorials and how-tos. With so many places to spread your ideas and discuss your thoughts, I can understand why the blog-curious would be overwhelmed.

I sit here catching old Adult Swim episodes and playing fetch with my family’s new mini pinscher – my first online writing experience has been kind of…anticlimactic.

But, perhaps anticlimactic in a good way. Technology can have that effect on people.

Yet, I’m not here to trivialize blogging or whether the ever changing trends in technology can support connecting online.

I am here to find out where these new connections can take me, period.

Hope it doesn’t suck.
